Hello, I`m writing to get help with some basics related to R environment; some time ago, I started in R making the proposed exercises on the distance course website and everything goes well. Now I back to the ducks nest exercise to remember the steps to get the desired outputs and replicate the same for my feacal pellet groups data but since then I`ve been many constraints. Initially, the error that I got was the data is not a data.frame nor numeric value. I cannot understand  why is happening because the data is imported correctly with the column Region in character and the others in double, incluind distance. I also get an error when I want to use the hist function says: "x" must be numeric. I hope someone whou can help me.

Best regards,

It sounds like a data organisation problem.  If you are willing to send directly to me rather than to the list, the file you are asking R to read, I can have a look at it tomorrow.
