Hi all,
Just started using Sentry and liked it a lot, now I'm evaluation Gargoyle.
It is something that I want on my system yes or yes, but haven't decided yet if I want Nexus in or not.
How useful is Gargoyle without Nexus? I've been looking and I can see howto create switches from the standard interface but there is a python dict that I'm going to need to fill and not sure how yet.

I've noticed the gargoyle module scans with autodiscover, is it looking for gargoyle.py inside each app? what for? extensions(Conditions) or actual uses of conditions?

Any hint?

Thanks

Hey Arkaitz,

You should definitely be using Nexus with Gargoyle (and really there's no reason not to). The admin interface only exists to.. exist, it's not very useable.

Regarding autodiscover, it scans for app/garogoyle.py for custom condition sets. It also will register the builtins, which are currently User and IpAddress.

I see, I'll give it a better try and see how it goes, I assume there is no incompatibility between standard admin interface and Nexus so I could have both running together.

Thanks, and keep the good work, they are very nice pieces of software.
