Does Sentry only accept json or pickle character data that is base64 binary encoded (and optionally zlib compressed)?

It would be great if the API details were documented somewhere. Along with other details like how to extend to add your own fields and what not. I have not seen them at any of the sites yet. My use case it using Sentry as a logging server for system messages from applications written in various languages including Standard C/C++, C++ Builder/Delphi, and Python.

Ok, I finally found this: http://readthedocs.org/docs/sentry/en/latest/technical/index.html#writing-a-client

If there are any other helpful comments besides that section, they would be appreciated still.

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris,

I'm actually working on restructuring the API for version 2.0. In fact, it's the only thing that is *really* pending for it.

Regards, David, How I can help on this development? Best wishes.
