Assalam o alaikum   All the brothers

We don't want to get distracted by comments coming from our friends. The core issue is construction of the Masjid in Marietta. We are seeking cooperation from ICNA and Masjid board to resolve this issue. There have been many meetings and sessions between these two parties, that did not bring required results.
We are presuming that there are some grievances that might have not been addressed during these talks, with this in our mind we have decided to come-up with a group of people from Marietta community to act as arbitrator and resolve the issue based on our understanding of guidance from Quran and Sunnah.
Mr. Khurshid Khan (President ICNA-USA), committee members for this issue (with ICNA) and Mr. Iqbal Kalla (President masjid board) and all the members of board are being requested for cooperation in resolving this matter.
To initiate the process we have already talked to President of masjid board, to get input from him in this issue. Now we are looking forward to here from ICNA's President or any other brother who is given the responsibility to take care of this matter.
We understand that there is no issue in this world, that can not be resolved. May Allah guide us to the right path, the path of rewarded ones  Amin!

Wassalam
Disputesolvers.

Brother Saghir Nizami,

Salam Alaikum. What you are referring in your email is very disturbing. I am also very dis-appointed that you think you are in a position to doubt Brother Salim's (President ICNA Atlanta) skills and capabilties to resolve the ISSUE. We as a muslim should have full confidence in our leadeship.
Please refrain yourself to be an AQL-E-KUL. Such emails create an hostile environment against brothers. This is not a political arena, but I belive all can take part accordingly if you create such an environment. The discussion has not ended and will continue.

Brother Mushtaque, Is this what you have intended, since we are not the cronic worker be insulted by your ICNA collegues.?
I always supported ICNA and have high regards for brother Salim. I have joined in your convention and supported them. Brother Hamid is witness to all this.

Dear Brother Mushtaq and others!

What is the ISSUE, people are going to resolve this
way?
As far as I know, ICNA did not initiate an issue, if
there were any.
What is community of Marrietta that is suffering?
Who is its representative?
A MOB can't reach any destination because it does not
know the "WHY".

There is no issue in this world that can be resolved
in ONE hour which involves many people and/or groups;
or gathering on a street and presenting speeches in
front of people who either don't have knowledge or not
concerned.

Brothers,
A committee of very sincere, learned and capable
personnel is working on this. [Which is the right way
to reach to a point of agreement] ICNA is a nation
wide organization not a local group of 4. It's main
focus is Da'wah. Let it work its own way and priority
of goals. There are many important and urgent things
to do.
Let them take their time and do not take this matter
to streets and be patient.

Please let only concerned people talk about it and
please don't post any sarcastic comments. It can only
fuel the differences and grievances.

Ma'Salaam.
Saghir Nizami

Dear Brothers: As Salam O Aleikum wr wb

As an ex-member of the community, I am honored and at the same time pained to be apart of the dispute solving committee.

I have moved back to Lahore, but my spirits are still with the community that endeared me and where I found so much loved and affection. We are intrinsically all very loving and caring people but sometimes our very large egos come in our way and creates divisions instead of affection.

Lets us look at the problem from a very dispassionate view. The property is in the name of ICNA while the management and control is with the Alhedaya Masjid. If ICNA were to let go of its ownership title to the property and pass it on to Alhedaya board of trustees or whatever governing body, would it not bring the brothers together? The question would then arise why not the other way around? For that let us look at the other masajid. Are they all under the control and ownership of ICNA? If it is not the case then why not let go?

As regards the construction of the new Masjid on the property in Alhedaya premises, what are the projections of the Muslim community's growth in the next 20 years in the Marietta and its surroundings area within a 30 minutes driving distance? The time factor of 30 minutes has been used because we have the Alfarooq Masjid with its new spacious construction catering to the needs of the projected growth as well. Will it be money well spent in Alhedaya's case or should we look at smaller masajid in other areas as the communities grow and spread to the north.

Let us try and bring the communities together with love because for that is the only bonding factor in our imaan and not create any dissension with hatred. Please try and use the guiding asool of Salae' Rehmee. This is a very minor issue compared to what the ummah is facing and if we cannot get together on small issues, how do you expect to solve the crises we are today beset with?
