MechWarrior 3 was the first game I bought for myself years ago back when it first came out. I got it along with Pirate's Moon and X-Com: Enforcer in a strange bundle pack. Because of this, it was my first true MechWarrior experience and became my gateway into the universe of mechwarriors and Battletech. Of course, I would go on to play MechWarrior 2 and its expansions, as well as MechWarrior 4, and played my share of MW:O. I even wanted to help fund Harebrained Schemes' Battletech game, but couldn't afford it at the time. Still bought it and played the hell out of it (I even played the Genesis game and Mech Assault titles). Yet despite all of that, MW3 still held a special place.
