Asthe name suggests, I want to see high stakes poker dang it! D::(! With that said, adding a mod that gives us high stakes poker might be easier to achieve. Simply put, I would love a mod that adjusts the buy-in for Saint Denis Saloon and Blackwater Saloon to 200 dollars instead of 5. Then adjust the buy-in for smaller saloons like Valentine from 2.50 to 20 dollars. In RDR1 I use to love playing poker in Blackwater after completing a bounty mission, win or lose, it was great! A 5 dollar buy-in at a table with WELL DRESSED GENTLEMEN, seems atrocious to me. Seeing as they don't seem fit to price things realistically, (E.G. Chocolate bars costing 1.50 in 1899) I want to see better potential wins in poker. WIll make it feel worth it!

Seconding, once you get very rich the 5 dollar buy in becomes trivial. You need a way to lose your fortune to give you a reason for robbing more, though i suppose they figured if players lose hundreds of dollars after the main story is over, there is no easy way to get it back via robbery.

Actually you can make money back quite easily xD. I easily make several hundred to a thousand every time I go on hunting trips. I also have high honor, so I get the maximum discount on prices. I buy the black Arabian horses from Saint Denis for about 500, work up their bonding to max and sell them for around 1000. I usually do this on hunting trips, so I'll spend lots of time out hunting for pelts and bonding with my horse. Once the horse is fully bonded, I finally head back to a town with a stable, sell the pelts and the Arabian and pick up my original Black Arabian and go play poker. I'm going through various clothing shops and buying up all the clothes. I'm currently in the epilogue and playing as a healthy Arthur, (Thanks to the save editor by xb36hazzard found at this link -infinity.com/RDR_SE) When I changed to a healthy Arthur I reduced my money to 0 and went north to the snowy mountains and stayed there for a while hunting. So, in the end, I still made quite a lot of money just hunting and doing various other tasks.

Honestly, back when the game was released I did not even expect to get this kind of feature as playing poker! Honestly, I was really surprised to get it, however I really like it. And yeah, you are right, we really need a mod for high stakes poker! Just like it was done with the watch dogs 2. I was saying this to a friend of mine, who is a die hard fan of the dead redemption 2, and he told me that if I want high stakes, I should play real poker, as it is just a game! He even gave me his account on uwin33my.com so I do not bother him with this anymore :DD.

Update 2.0: Changed the suits of dallas, chains and wolf to fit with all 4 variations of the high stakes skin that was announced today, also a friend is editing the mask mod i linked to change all 4 masks to the dallas mask, and each is gonna have each separate card. but im waiting on permission from the original masks creator before he uploads it (ive provided a preview image of the masks)

say what you want about fortnite, but this incoming skin looks super neat

suit reskin is for Houston, setup for the mask is the hockey heat mask, plastic white material, cards pattern that comes with golden grin casino, and the Red/White color

update: just found these custom ported masks, ( =view_down&did=21608) and the dallas mask actually looks almost spot on so i messed with the diffuse texture so if you want to use this mask instead, just go download this guys mod, and download my edited diffuse in this mods files

Angela Ray sat patiently in the staging lanes at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park at Englishtown, N.J., during a serious computer glitch that delayed qualifying at last week's Shakedown Nationals.

Her stark-white 1967 Shelby Mustang Pro Modified car sat in front of her, awaiting her first big test in a high-stakes race chock-full of high-profile competitors -- in only her third event in this car and the second in this class.

When time came to strap into the Dan Page-built car with power partly cannibalized from her dad's Top Alcohol Funny Car, the full-time college student aced her assignment.

Ray was the No. 12 qualifier, just ahead of class star Todd Tutterow and such seasoned Pro Mod standouts as eventual race winner Dwayne Wolfe, Scott Oksas, Jim Bersani, Steve Drummond, Donnie Walsh Jr., Bruce Boland, Dean Marinis, and John Bartunkek. She advanced to the second round of eliminations.

It's a giant leap for Ray, who began in a Jr. Dragster. She spent five years in the Division 1 Super Street ranks in her '65 Nova that went in the 9.50s and spent all last year testing, preparing to move into the word of ill-handling, unpredictable, untamed Pro Modifieds that cover the quarter-mile or six seconds.

But she's turning some heads in the perhaps appropriately named Magic Racing entry. The 27-year-old from Plaistow, N.H., isn't relying on magic, though. For the one-time architect with associate degrees in civil technology - architecture and business management, everything is by design.

She's taking online classes with Grand Canyon University, studying fulltime to earn a Bachelors degree in secondary education and working fulltime, as well, in sales and service for Basement Systems of New Hampshire, a company that specializes in waterproofing basements. She re-invests the money she earns in college tuition and the race car.

"We're a pretty low-budget team," Ray said. But its clear the second-generation racer has high expectations.

"This has always been my life," the easygoing Ray said, indicating the blueprint for her career pointed to building a racing resume. Then with a soft giggle, she said, "They call me David Ray Jr."

However, she isn't rushing her agenda.

"I just want to go A to B," she said, laughing at the simplicity of her immediate goal. But she knows the 101-level of education always comes before the advanced courses of learning.

"I've never raced in these conditions," Ray said that Saturday at the Shakedown and at a track that is notorious for its hook in the October chill. She had been to two outlaw races this year, driving this same car in both Pro Modified and Top Sportsman competition, although the car was built to be a Pro Mod.

"I know my limits," she said. "We're traveling so fast that anything can happen."

Mom Irene, the team manager, said, "It's a discipline thing" and said her only daughter is a careful driver.

Dad David, her team owner/crew chief who also owns Skip's Garage in Plaistow, is former Top Alcohol Funny Car driver whose most prominent gig was with the Jay Blake "Follow A Dream" car that Todd Veney drives today. Now David Ray jokes that he's "a relocation expert" -- because he makes sure his daughter gets from the pit to the staging lanes on time and keeps her on the proper schedule.

Her boyfriend, mechanical engineer Jared Kinson, is her co-crew chief/tuner. He's also New England Dragway's reigning King of the Track champion in his '68 Camaro.

So Angela Ray is surrounded by the most important people in her life, all of whom understand the drag-racing industry's pleasures and its pitfalls. She's off to an impressive start with her Pro Mod career, and she's doing it in her own style.
