Hello! Sorry for my English..

I’ve just started with programming, so I need some help..

I need to make animated plot: I have set of points and I want to draw them on the screen one-by-one. As I understood, the plot appears on the screen after DISFIN() and I must use DISINI() again to draw second point? But can I use some function to update window without using DISFIN()? I’m very sorry, if it was in manual and I didn’t notice it..
Thank you!!!

Hi Maria,

you don't need a new disini/disfin cycle. You can just update your curve with the following commands.

         .....
graf (....)                      plots an axis system
curve (xray, yray, n)      plots your curve
sendbf ()                      displays your curve on the screen by flushing the dislin buffer

add new points to your xray and yray arrays
curve (xray, yray, nn)     plots the new curve
sendbf  ()                      displays the new curve

If you want to plot a complete new curve, you can erase the old curve by plotting it again in background
color, before plotting the new curve.

Best regards,

Helmut

Hi,
I am using DISLIN :
Date : 31.07.2014 **/
** Routines : 770 **/
** Version : 10.4 / explicit-shape

with Intel compiler, Win 7, 64b. I downloaded it one hour ago.
I got an error during program linking telling me that the routine
WGPICON is not available. It works for WGICON.

Thanks for your help.
Philippe

Hi Philippe,

this is a typing error in the Dislin wrapper routines for Fortran (WGIPCON instead of WGPICON). It was reported before a few
weeks and will be corrected with the next upgrade in January 2015. I will send you a updated Dislin library for Intel Fortran 64-bit
in the next days.

Best regards,

Helmut
