Hello,

is it possible to write metadata/tags into postscript files from dislin? such as title or similar? Because boundingbox and creator + creationdate is written. It would be so helpful to have such a function, that can set these tags in the created ps files.
Is it possible to implement this at all? And is this time invest only possible by the user itself with an license to the source code?
Thank you very much for everything!

Best regards,
Mchael

Hi Michael,

I think it's possible to implement such a function. At the moment you can edit the Dislin
PostScript file with an editor and include additional meta information or change the current
meta lines.

With best regards,

Helmut

Hello Helmut,

thank you for the answer.
Yes i could change the metadata outside of my program and I'm doing this already. But this solution gets really tricky with all the plots that i create in the same folder. That is why it would be amazing to write directly from my code, where i have all the data together into the metadata.
Also writing information into the filename or into a seperate file is unfortunately not optimal. Best would be if the ploted files directly gets this information written into its file, so it is independent.

Thank you!
Best regards,
Michael
