Disklavier post

Hey guys, I have an app in development that I want to get as many people testing as possible. It connects your digital piano in a video call, and everything is combined, so you don't have to coordinate it with zoom or another app. It also has good acoustic sound for those who don't want to mess with MIDI. You can try the beta version at dev.app.1on1piano.com. For iOS, message me here and I'll add you to TestFlight. It's completely free to use, and please feel to share it, try it in lessons etc. The app is simple to use, but here is a link to a 2ish minute video that shows you how to log in and make rooms: https://youtu.be/wv7rMdjHZJU?si=-TYG6AiPLGCiX4xo

Looking forward to your feedback!

Paul, Interesting, but I don’t quite understand what the app is for.  Is it so that, in a Zoom-like setting, other people can view your DKV playing something?

Kind regards

Geoff

Hey Geoff,

It’s like Zoom that also sends MIDI in real time, so you can play each others Disklavier or digital piano through the call. It also has better camera controls because of how we use pianos in lessons and concerts. It’s a modern take on the technology because it combines midi over internet with a group video call, and it runs on almost any platform.
