Exact Audio Copy (https://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) is a good Windows program for ripping CDs to WAV or FLAC files (never use MP3 format for Pianosoft Plus Audio tracks, as lossy codecs like MP3 will corrupt the particular modulation scheme Yamaha chose to use).

I am not aware of any software to convert Pianosoft Plus Audio tracks to Enspire-style Pianosoft Audio full tuples (i.e. MIDI file of the piano part plus WAV/MP3 file of the accompaniment for each track), though it is technically possible to do such a conversion; it's basically the inverse of what MID2PianoCD does.

However, Yamaha itself was working on a project a few years ago to convert all of their Pianosoft Plus Audio content to Pianosoft Audio (using the original source material when possible), so you might inquire whether an exchange program is available or whether they could provide the equivalent Pianosoft Audio files if you prove ownership of the corresponding CD.

Hi Mark - I hope you are well.
As always, you are correct in that you can’t (currently) unscramble scrambled eggs. It would need your software to run backwards!
So, I also had a number of Pianosoft+Audio cd’s and I simply ripped the disk to reveal the CDA file which is easily converted to a   AnalogMidi WAV file which I feed directly into the omni in ports. I made a decision a while back to have all my piano music files in the same format - analogMidi - even my solo midi files. I have 2TB of it all in iTunes which does the job and although I appreciate that there maybe some technical audio loss, my old ears have stopped worrying about it and I just enjoy the music.

Kind regards,
John Driscoll.

Google CD ripper - rip the tracks as WAV files and then you do what you want with them.
