I have several Pianodisc cd's that play fine on my Mark III but I also have several that will not. I think they are silent drive cd's???
Does anyone know haw to convert these to play on a disklavier?

If they say Silent Drive Plus on them and/or are dated 2005 or later, they likely include the slight format change + obfuscation scheme designed to thwart playback on competitors' systems.  Yamaha never implemented support for that before deprecating the CD formats.  If you're hearing sustained garbage notes on top of the actual performance, that's what PianoDisc intended with these changes.

Due to the DMCA, I can't legally publish a tool to convert these to the pre-2005 format, but email me directly and I'll see whether there are other options.
