Dear friend,
"It's impossible; says Reason. It's reckless; says Experience. It's painful; says Pride..."
How do you motivate even those who would seem unchangeable. How do you engage and reason and steer and handle an agitated, ill-tempered, hurt, struggling populace. And why would they listen to you and trust you, much less embrace the painful and difficult solutions you might present? And how would you go about it, consistently exemplifying your path for decades, taking it on as the purpose of your life? And also sustain hope of eventual success..
Would you be able to handle such a job description? Of a transformational leader... who would you be reporting to? How would you walk, and speak, and think, and live...Would a clarion call arise from a weak and frail spirit? Is there any room for faltering with values, ethics, standards and emotions, internal conflict, self doubt, or bowing under pressure? Is there any possibility of giving up? Wouldn't you require an absolute sense of righteousness and standing firm for it, no matter what.
"It is impossible; says Reason. It is reckless; says Experience. It is painful; says Pride... Try it! says Dream"
Freedom is not just one person's dream. A succession of crisis pressed onto several generations, barreling upon them like a rampaging train, required an indomitable spirit, one that could speak to the heart, bond with the inner excellence and goodness within every onlooker, string them together, empower them and march alongside them onto the arduous path.
..to show that they could achieve more... more than they originally thought possible of themselves. That would be the way to make a change.
..to BE the change.
Salutations to the inner excellence within you,
