Hi All,
If you have completed your Engineering studies and are placed or completed and working in an IT or any organisation, then spare a thought in forwarding your used Engineering text books to Team Nanmai.
Requesting parents also to set aside dusty old Engineering books of your children to a noble cause.
Nanmai is distributing books to deserving college students based on their set of assessment/ criteria. The books are distributed through Vivekananda Book Bank and they have already issued forms for students who would like to get the books for their education.
It’s very simple. Take a phone and dial the numbers mentioned below for getting your books/ text books collected from your home or office.
Currently there is a requirement for a particular set of Text books for engineering students but they can also take text books other than those mentioned in the excel file. The books will of use for upcoming semester in July 2012. Kindly come forward.

The below is a formal drive organised by Nanmai in December 2011 including issuance of application form for submitting the requests on behalf of students.
We are planning to start our next project Free Engineering Books Distribution to genuine, poor and needy engineering students for next semester. We are yet to finalize the dates for Swami Vivekananda Book Bank Distribution Function. Before that, last time we have given books to around 30+ students and this time we are planning to provide books to 60+. We are seeking the help from you all to refer this mail to as many as you can which will help for the students to approach.
Screening Process:
1) Swami Vivekananda Book Bank Request Form will be issued to the students on 18th and 25th December.
2) Students have to submit the form back to us on or before Jan 1st 2012. 3) Based on the selection criteria, selected students will be notified through message or through call.
To follow (For Students):
1) Students are requested to get the Signature from the Principal/ HOD from the respective departments in the Book Bank Form given by Nanmai.
2) Students are requested to mention the complete details of the books needed by them. If the name of the book/Author/Publication is not mentioned books will not be issued.
3) Students are requested to mention the complete details about them. Eg., Mail id , Contact no. In case of change in contact no, it has to be notified to us before hand.4) Students are requested to carry their previous semester mark sheets while submitting their book bank forms.

Existing students has to return the books to Book bank by this Sunday - 18th Dec-2011 and can get the form for next semester.
All we need from you is to refer the above mail to as many as you can which in-turn will help for the students to approach us in getting the books from us.
