Want to teach with us, or become part of the Free School Leadership Committee?

The Sports Basement, located at 1590 Bryant Street, would like to have
the SF Free School host classes at their location each Monday
afternoon, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, starting on Monday, September 19th.
If you’d like to teach a class at the Sports Basement then please come
to this meeting the SF Free School will be holding on Saturday,
September 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00pm, also at the Sports Basement. The
specific location for the meeting will be held on the 5th floor of the
Sports Basement on the West side of their building.

Currently the Sports Basement has dance, CPR, and yoga classes, as
well as other events and classes, and they’d like to expand their
offering into other areas as well. If you’d like to teach a class on
ANY topic that people would find of interest, and that at least 5 or
10 people – or more - would be likely to attend then the Sports
Basement will be happy to make their space available for your classes.

In addition, this Saturday meeting at the Sports Basement is also for
those of you who would like to learn about holding classes at other
locations in San Francisco as well, for the SFFS has secured other
locations in the City that would also like to host our classes. Let us
know what you’d like to teach and we’ll see if we can find a spot for
you to do so!

Lastly, we’d also like to invite all of those of you who’d like to
become members of the SF Free School Leadership Committee – or who’d
like to become involved in the SF Free School community in other ways
– to attend this meeting to learn about how you can do so. Even if
you’d just like to brainstorm with us, or see what we’re all about,
then feel free to join us for this Saturday gathering!
