Thank you so much to Belinda Hopper for sharing her experiences swimming with whale sharks and carrying out ultra sound on them. Marvellous stuff - fascinating insights into these little-understood animals, and a lovely appreciation of our vast and wonderful oceans.

 This was in the pew sheet, under the image of the whale shark. I love the feeling of it, as if i too and dancing with sea creatures:

Living things both small and great: not a whale shark but it does have an attractive blue speed stripe on its underside...
