Wireless Hill, yesterday. Very much reduced showing so far, still recovering from the summer before last’s disastrous dry spell. Normally would expect to find fields of donkey orchids and kangaroo paws. One donkey orchid, although delightfully adorned with raindrops, and kangaroo paws really struggling to flower from much reduced shoots. Nonetheless a peaceful space to dwell.
It is in the depths of life that we find You -
at the heart of this moment
at the centre of our soul
deep in the earth and its eternal stirrings.
You are the Ground of all being
the Well-spring of time
Womb of the earth
the Seed-Force of stars.
