Gymnosperms are a vascular plant that produces seeds that are not protected by fruit but are hidden in a woody cone. They do not have flowers, but most retain their leaves year round while Angiosperms are vascular plants that produce flowers and fruit with one or more seeds. Angiosperms make up more than 80% of all plant species, ranging from roses to palm trees.
