installing from git

Hello all.
I didn't see any explicit instructions on how to install from trunk,
and wanted to because of some apparently fixed things in trunk.

rake gem then builds me a .gem file, I did get as far as installing
exerb [1], but when I run it I get "cannot find method
rb_enumeratorize" or something.
