Hi everyone,
I would like to build a chip PC (like a rasp or NUC) to make webrtc videocall (720p or 1080p).
I was thinking using linux like OS but it seems hardware encoding is not suppoprted on all linux distrib.
I spent time to look evrywhere in Internet without finding out a clear anwser. All subjects which deals with this subject are aged ago.
So is someone call tell me if hardware encoding (H62 or VP8 I dont care) using any browser (FF or Chrome I don't care) is available 'today' on linux ?
If the answer is "yes" : which GPU is supported ?
Many thanks in advance :)
cheers

I'm answered my own question: it seems hardware encoding is not supported "at all" as it used openH264 I've seen a tweet where people successfully enabled encoding using FFMPEG so I supposed it means using hardware encoding ?
