Mic not working on Macbook in Chrome

Hi there! We encountered this issue on several Macbooks in Chrome browser only. 

Path: 
  1. Using 2 Macbooks, both in Chromes, same network, no firewalls
  2. During getUserMedia 2 mics are available: "Built in input" and "Default"
  3. GetUserMedia success
  4. WebRTC connection established
  5. Video is running, but sound from one Macbook is not available 
  6. Trying to resolve:
    1. Changing browser from Chrome to FireFox on "non-working" Macbook - helps (mic works)
    2. Trying desktop app, like Skype - helps (mic works)
    3. Changing Macbook ("non-working") to another Macbook - helps (mic works)
No errors in JavaScript console. No other symptoms except absence of sound. I am sure that the system sound is on and WebRTC audio track exists and its volume is high enough.

Does hangouts work for you on chrome? Also what version of chrome you tested it, does trying a different chrome version help?

We didn't test Hangouts, but tested AppRTC and Talky.io, they all produce the exactly same behavior. Does this help? It was latest Chrome (we made a test a week ago). We couldn't change Chrome version, but changed it to Firefox and it worked.

Thanks, would be nice if you can test with hangouts as well and if you check chrome://version that would be useful. I would suggest to file a bug with these details in the webrtc tracker.

We will test with Hangouts and get the Chrome version as well, then file a bug.
