So according to https://developer.chrome.com/blog/background-blur/ , the API allows you to "observe and control background blur" on Windows.

But I am unable to toggle it on with Chrome/Windows and Logitech c925e/StreamCam. I'm using the official sample @ https://googlechrome.github.io/samples/image-capture/background-blur.html

I am getting "Background blur is not supported by Logitech StreamCam".

Do you know of any webcams that support this feature?

Best Regards,

Hi,

So after further research it seems it only works on Windows 11 on laptops with an NPU-equipped processor that supports Windows Studio Effects.

This is explained at https://chromestatus.com/feature/5077577782263808 under Dev trials and iterate on design > Activation Risks

So as per Chrome Status, on Windows 11, support is "roughly restricted to devices which can run Microsoft Studio Effects" ( so you need an NPU-equipped processor).
