WebRTC DataChannel stops receiving ?

Hello,

Has anybody ever seen this happen ?

I am sending data from peer to peer using the webrtc datachannel and all of a sudden, while peer1 keeps sending without any error, peer2 stops firing the onmessage event 

I checked the state of the datachannel and it is still open but the onmessage event just will not fire any more.

what could be the problem ?

What is the type of data channel? SCTP or RTP?
