WebRTC Android - Camera 2 API's

Hello ,

I checked out the latest WebRTC Andorid source code and found that the 

talk( AppRTCDemo.apk)  application for Android is using android.hardware.camera API's. 

From the below link it seems like the Chrome has already upgraded to Camera2 API's.

Now my question is does any one know if the AppRTC code is also planned to use Camera2 API's? If so when is that planned?
