Once
  https://webrtc-review.googlesource.com/c/src/+/477381
lands (planned for M151) the values of the srtpCipher in getStats change slightly.

This is in line with the specification and the inbound Firefox stats values for the same field.
If you are comparing those values, change your processing to map those values.

I assume this is web-exposed?
If so, how come this is not sent to blink-dev as well?

only in the sense that the stats object now contains a different string value in a field that is defined as a DOMString.
A value that depends on what browser or server you are talking to.

"webrtc developers" do not read blink-dev in general.
