Hello,

Our friends at Mozilla have updated their copy of libwebrtc in Firefox 96. This means you can and should start testing with Firefox Nightly now if you are operating a webrtc service which supports browsers.

From that point on forward your chance of getting a functional problem addresses are very low. And on 2022-01-11 Firefox 96 will become Release and only security fixes have chance to get addressed.

This is the first update of libwebrtc in Firefox in a long time. It should bring a lot of improvements, but there are always edge cases which are not covered by automated tests yet. So if you care about the open web please start testing now.

Best regards
