PSA: Callback-based getStats() is removed in M117 (the Deprecation Trial is now mandatory if you need more time)

As previously announced, the callback-based getStats() API is being deprecated and removed.

A deprecation warning has been showing since M113 and the API has been throwing an exception at 50% Canary/Dev/Beta channels unless the app is registered to the Deprecation Trial. We are now gradually rolling out the exception to throw in Stable, expecting it to throw 100% of the time before the release of the next milestone (M118).

If your app still needs time to migrate to the standard getStats() API there is still time to sign up to the Deprecation Trial. Resources: metrics definitions and migration guide.
