What is best way to get the VAD value from the android webrtc library. any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi Suresh,

Today the VAD values are not exposed via an API to Android. The class that calculates these values is VoiceActivityDetector, which is called mainly in Agc and the values are surfaced through AgcManagerDirect to be used in AudioProcessingImpl. Hope that helps.

What is the best way to get the mic activity levels in Android / Java after any echo from the speakers has been subtracted from the signal?

i.e. the audio being sent over the wire to the remote end and a measure of its amplitude?

(iOS/Chrome work fine because they remove the echo at source)

I am not sure which AEC model is used in android. 

I am looking for the amplitude of the voice which is being sent to opus or other  before encoding and sent out.
