Binary datachannel.send() in Chrome?

When will we be able to use datachannel.send() with binary data in Chrome? Is there a bug to track the progress on this?

Ping! Does anyone have any info about when Chrome will support binary data over DataChannel?

You can track the progress in https://code.google.com/p/webrtc/issues/detail?id=1408. For now, you can just base64 any binary data you want to send.
