Hi All

I have integrated webrtc (M54) for my video chat project. It uses vp8 codec.
Is it possible to update vp8 to vp9?
Any comments will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi!
The first thing to check is that VP9 exists in your SDP. I believe it must be there.
So the next thing is to update SDP for changing codecs order. In your case VP8 is the first one (and VP9 is the second one I think).
To change the order you should update the string in SDP that starts with "m=video ..."

Please refer to https://webrtchacks.com/sdp-anatomy/ on SDP details.

Hi

Can you provide an example in SDP for using the VP9 codec?

Thank you.

This is your work. You already have the information to implement it.
