Hi,

I am working on an ios project on xcode 7 that is using WebRTC. With xcode 7, the option "Enable bitcode" is set to "yes" by default and I received this error:

[object name](voice_engine.voe_network_impl.o)' does not contain bitcode. You must rebuild it with bitcode enabled (Xcode setting ENABLE_BITCODE), obtain an updated library from the vendor, or disable bitcode for this target. for architecture arm64

I can disable bitcode by setting "Enable bitcode" to "no" for now to avoid this error but I was wondering if you have any plans to have WebRTC support bitcode anytime soon.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken,

If you compile WebRTC yourself, I just wrote up a blog post about how to build WebRTC with bitcode (I was hoping to summarize it here, but it ended up longer than I originally expected): https://blog.andyet.com/2015/10/20/building-webrtc-with-bitcode

Hey Jon, Do you have a way of doing this in later builds?

Hi,

Is it possible to update your instructions to work on the latest WebRTC source?

Thanks,

You can refer to bug 5085 (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/webrtc/issues/detail?id=5085) for the progress on this issue.
