Hello everyone,

I got the Android video WebRTCDemo application compiled and running on Nexus 7. By default, clicking the start call button seems to be making a video call to the device itself and I can see the output from device's camera. But when I am trying to call from the emulator to the device or vice versa, the call is not established and I don't see any errors. I have a Nexus 7 over Wifi, and I am running the Emulator on a laptop which too is connected to the same Wifi network. In the demo application instance running on the emulator I am providing the remote ip address of Nexus 7 and then I am tapping the start call button. Is this the right way to do it?

Thanks

Can you please try between two real devices, for example, mobile to
mobile or mobile to PC, which is typical test case for us?

Leo, I ran the android demo application on Nexus 7 and tried to connect to the peerconnection_server  running on Ubuntu. In the android demo application settings tab I changed the remote ip to that of the peerconnection_server. Probably no connection was getting established between the server and the demo application as the server was not showing any new connections. Looking at the source code I get the impression that the android demo application is directly connecting to other peers and not using the server. Is this the correct way to test the android demo application end to end with a device and a pc?

Thanks.

Hi Bob,

WebRTCDemo doesn't support peer_connection, please check the native
webrtc peer_connection status at
https://code.google.com/p/webrtc/issues/detail?id=1169

thanks

Hi Bob,

Were you able to solve this issue? I tried making calls between two devices running the app with the appropriate remote ips', but tapping the start call button doesn't do anything.

Regards,
Neeraj
