Looking to connect with an WebRTC/audio programmer for a proof-of-concept project.
The idea is a music collaboration tool involving instrument audio input, webcam video, and backing track synchronization. Real-time performance is not required, but keeping the audio/video/backing track aligned is a key part of the concept.
Still early in the process and working within a limited budget, mainly looking to speak with someone who has experience in WebRTC + audio worklet and can help evaluate feasibility and possibly assist with a prototype.
If interested, feel free to DM me.
Thanks,
Don
Hi ,
Thanks for sharing the project details. The concept sounds interesting, especially the audio/video and backing track synchronization side.
My background is mainly in embedded and real-time systems, so I’m comfortable with synchronization and timing-related concepts. I’m currently exploring browser audio/media technologies as well, and I’d be interested in discussing the feasibility and possible architecture for a simple proof-of-concept.
From my understanding, the initial POC could focus on:
capturing webcam + instrument/mic input,
playing a backing track,
and keeping all streams synchronized during recording/playback.
I’d be happy to learn more about your vision and see how I can contribute.
Thanks,
Yashvi

Hi Don,
I saw your post looking for a WebRTC/audio programmer for your music collaboration project, and I am very interested in discussing this further with you.
Your concept sounds fascinating. Implementing a multi-stream sync (instrument, webcam, and backing track) without strict real-time constraints is a smart approach for a POC. I have hands-on experience with WebRTC and low-level audio/video processing, and I’m very familiar with managing synchronization logic and timeline alignment for multi-source media.
I’d be happy to help you evaluate the technical feasibility, discuss how to handle the track alignment, and assist in building the prototype within your budget.
Let me know if you have time for a brief chat or if you prefer to share more details here.
Best regards,
Janice
