i've had a chance to take a good at the Ant tasks added by Stefan and
they are cool. a lot of the Ant 1.7 is both powerful and elegant.

i'm going to start refactoring away the legacy report (the xml based
report seems to be working ok now and i have a stylesheet which
produces a report similar to the old one). however, i'm going to cut a
RAT 0.4 containing the original tasks before i do any more refactoring.
