R/C for Geico Cup

Greetings Sailors:

I have not seen RSVPs from many boats (yet) for the Geico Cup on June 9/10.  But I have long experience with the tendency for reluctant responses from most DISC skippers when we ask for the courtesy of your intentions.  

HOWEVER - Pat Williams has asked me to send out an SOS for Race Committee assistance for either or both days.  Who is in for hanging out on the good ship Allura?  Contact Pat at ay...@verizon.net .

So far, the only suggestion for the after-race party is to get pizzas and to consider heading up to the Capital Yacht Club.  Robert Lang on Good Trade has offered to assist with whatever we decide to do.  But we need more assistance with the after-party IF we are doing something a the marina.  Otherwise, we can just head into Indigo Landing and order from the bar - not a bad alternative, actually.

Or perhaps we should just do a post race raft up and pot luck!
