Hi Sailors,
Say adieu to Summer 1 'cause Summer 2 starts Tuesday. Congrats to the winners and to the contenders. In fact, congratulations to everyone who sailed Tuesday because it turned out to be a spectacular evening for a sail (if a bit shallow). Assuming the results don't change on us, the SpinAs are Dark Star, Coup de Vent and T. Turtle; Spin B Wiz, Crowe's Nest and Firefly; Non Spin A - Commocean, Jaguar, Skirmish; Non Spin B Runneth O; Rebecca and Lynne L.
So far, Tomorrow's Night Crawler will be Sunshine and Chimera. Who else is in for a nice Friday evening sail?
Screw Pile is in two weeks - Who amongst you is taking on the Challenge of the Great
Bay?
And lest you forget, there is a Potomac leg of Gov Cup August 4th that starts at Dahlgren and ends at St. Mary's. Martin and Tyrannosaurus Turtle are sailing. The Solis are flying in to compete on Blew Boat (assuming they can get the keys from Steve D

) and there are many involved from Quantico and Dahlgren.
Let us know if you are planning (or even considering) the Potomac Gov Cup. The boats leave from Dahlgren at 6pm. High tide that night is at 5:45 so the auguries appear to be good. NOR and SIs are on the Gov Cup web site at
http://www.smcm.edu/govcup/.
Ciao
