Hi Kelly,
I am from Discs for All, a newly officially formed NGO in France that aims to develop frisbee where it's needed and we've done a good deal for work in Mali last year for example, starting 4 to 5 teams and the first ever Bamako Ultimate league this year (links in my signature below - most of them in French for now am afraid). We have a project with Right to Play and Born Fonden there as well, aiming at girls in villages where frisbee would be a mean to educate the children, in line with what you seem to be doing.
We are in touch with a few countries some that need help, others not. Amandine in copy knows of two Americans (a couple) who would be keen to go somewhere help with growing Ultimate somewhere in Africa so they might be interested by your message - we'll pass it on to them.
As Ultimate is our focus and as we haven't been in touch with Ghana yet, we would be interested in knowing more about Ghana Ultimate : is your Ultimate camp a one off or you have similar initiatives elsewhere ? Do you know of Ultimate being played in Ghana on a regular basis with teams and /or clubs ?
I don't want to ask too many questions but obviously we would like to hear more about what you do there and see if we could help / collaborate with you on a specific project or on a larger programme. The more the merrier !
Looking forward to hearing from you then,
Cheers,
Rodrigue
