Dear Friends,
Telangana Resources were exploited to the core for the last 60 Years . People in Telangana are marginalised by non-judicious use (mis-use) of Land, water and air by the Andhra rulers of the sate, apart from diverting the revenue collected from the region, especially from Hyderabad for the coastal area development. The unplanned, so called infrastructure development for IT and other industries in and around Hyderabad have literally Killed the traditional livelihoods of the marginal workers, like small farmers and agri-based allied occupations in the region.
The surface water bodies are polluted and forest area around Hyderabad is vanished with rampant and uunscrupulous, so called development, of the region. The city of Hyderabad has become one of the most polluted cities of the world. Above all, the erstwhile Hyderabad state owned and central Govt.industries like, Allwyn, Nizam Sugars, praga tools, IDPL, HMT, Govt. Printing press, road transport were damaged, made sick and locked out, leaving the local habitats jobless and without any other livelihood options.
All the polocies and agreements made during the merger of the two states were dumped in the dustbin and the rights of the local habitats were completely violated. The new colonies were developed for the settlers and all the facilities like good roads, parks, stadiums, water supply are provided in colonies like, Kukatpally, Vanastalipuram, NGOs colony, Banjarahills, Jubleehills and Madhapur. Whereas the City surrounding sub-urban areas of 5 distrcits of Telangana including the oldcity of Hyderabad is completely ignored from the development agenda. The people of old colonies of Hyderabad still struggle for good education, Health and other civic amenities. There is
no protection to the Rights of the people form region and they are literally made unorganised labour, auto drivers, rikshaw pullers, street vendors and beggars.
Apart from the above , the most important is the violation of employment and political rights. Very negligible people from the region have reached the top positions in employment and almost all the political party heads of the state were from other region, thus making the Andhra regions' officers and leaders power centers.
Now it is the time to fight back in getting the state not compramising over the basic rights over the resources and respecting those thousands of martires, who have sacrifised their lives for the cause. This is not the time for begging, pleading and pleasing the other parties for getting back our own rights. Above this we need to be demanding for the compensation for the uscrupolous use of our resources and socio-economic backwardness caused to the people of the region for the last 6 decades.
People of the region are demporalised, broken and devided with the supressive appraoch of the power centers and now it is the time to take back whartis ours without any compromise and be united to rebuild the state by restoring all the resources and industries, which were closed down for ultirier motives of people from other region. I personally feel, unless we given call of go-back to the settlers, it is difficult to protect our rights for the years to come. If we do not take protective measures and continue to be submisive, we will be made no-body in our own house. Even Babu might say and claim the seat of CM of Telangana tommorrow for himself or his son.
Be Cautious and Aware and Protect your self from opposing any further exploitaion!
