Logo image caching

Hi Andreas!

 

What is the logic for logo caching? I updated our IDP logo which is referenced in the mdui attributes without changes to our metadata. I simply added transparency to the existing referenced file without changing the name. Will this change get picked up and the new image cached?

It might be that there is a bug that makes it not update logos if they
contain the same url..

I've removed your cached icons, and started a new fetch, you might see
if it is updated.

I would assume that if you add '?version=2' to your logo url in
metadata discojuice would update it. Although it probably would be
more correct for me to fix this in discojuice parser :)

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for your help! The logo has now been updated. I was reluctant to change the metadata at the federation operator as the federation in question uses manual processes for the updates. I'll make a note of this on the wiki of the federation.
