Instead of the Red River Enduro, looks like James and I are planning a trip to the dunes for the weekend of the 13th & 14th.  I'll be taking my camper and have room for 3 more without bunking up....anyone want to go along, the more the merrier.  If more than 5 go and you don't mind bunking up, the camper will sleep 9.

Where are the dunes? And what is it?

Little Saharah, NW Oklahoma...about 2 hours from OKC.  It's just a desert area with a lot of sand dunes and wide open riding.  I've never been there...this will be the first time.

I have an 18" honda wheel you can borrow if it doesn't sell before you go. Then you could mount up our 18 paddle.

I don't have any plans that take me near the city now but since it is a week off there is always that possibility.

Awesome...the 53 would probably work great for the sand!  I saw Steve & Lessi at church this morning...asked them if it would be OK to take up a small spot in their garage :)  They said no problem.  I'll see what Russ has going on for the week if he is going to Shawnee otherwise I'll make a trip out there.  I appreciate it!!!

I have it all sitting on the front porch. Now I just have to remember to
bring it to group. Have your younger-than-mine brain remember to send an
email to remind me tomorrow.

Yes but the only 18 tube I had seems to have lost some air since yesterday when I set it out. Hopefully It will be just a valve core or something. You may have to stuff one of your 19s in instead.

well, the dunes were a lot of fun, wish I had gone a long time ago.
As most of you know I had problems with my shock...1.5 hours of riding
on the hour meter and we found that my shock had exploded all the oil
out of it. I took it back to Richard today and the preliminary idea
is that the bladder leaked out some of the pressure causing a weak
seal of the oil. He's going to look at it to make sure...it makes
sense but need to find out why the bladder lost some pressure,
guessing maybe a leaking schrader core.

But anyway, we need to plan a trip out there. It was fun to
jump...the landings are forever, just jump as far as you want! I'm
not usually a big fan of riding in sand but this was totally
different...so fun to carve corners and there were sections of whoops
like a quarter mile long...I hit them 5th gear pinned and the paddle
tire hooked up so good I was wheelieing through 1/2 of them....then
there were huge bowls that you can ride up like 50 foot tall....so
much fun!!!

Thanks for the great time James!!!
