Raptor Rally

I know I have talked to a few of you about this, 2nd annual Little
Sahara Raptor Rally is going to be October 1-3
The local shop there is going to spocer the rally with half price camp
sites, cheap dyno time and tuneing, and a dyno shootout. I went last
year and about 50 people showed up from all over the country. This
year we are looking at 70 or so. There will be riders at ALL skill
levels out there, so please don't let that be the reason you don't
go. October is a pretty slow month up there also, so the sand is in
pretty good shape.

Well just for the sake of follwing up, We had a hard time getting a
head count but I think 65 people showed up. We had 52 in the group
pic and 10 that were definately not in the pic who attended. My quad
put down 60hp and 43 ft lbs. I think that is pretty good for a two
year old build with a hot cam:) My new paddle tires/swingarm combo
did very well. I was able to run down all of the 450s that I raced
and several of the 700s with similar builds to mine. I think with a
jocky wieght rider my quad would make some people with three times the
money in there engine very unhappy :) Dave I thank you again for your

not bad James...that's some good HP!  sounds like it was a good time, glad you had fun.  It's always neat to see the "low buck" guy beat the guys with tons of $$$ in their rides.  There was a guy in a Dodge Neon that took a C6 Corvette...that guy had bad about that race :)
