Anyone interested in joining a Disc Golf League? It may be late in the
year but plenty of time to play. Maybe next year it can last a lot
longer. If interested please let us know.

I'm interested! Lets start playing every sunday around 1. $5 a round
winner takes all unless more than 6 people? of course we'll ahve to
figure out handicaps. I'd never win, I've thrown the same score the
last 3 rounds I've played!

Just a word of caution, there should be some research into this issue
to ensure that we are not breaching some gambling laws, I would stifle
talk on here until this issues is cleared... maybe we can find a Judge
who is into disc golf that could help us clarify this issue.

Club dead has the same setup on there website. It's perfectly legal.
Judge Vanderbeck played last year in the tourney and helped Randy get
the course going. Talk to him. It's just a few friends making a wager.
Every bet a friend on a football game: "twenty bucks says Bears beat
the Colts." Same thing.

Fall league starts Sunday Sept 6th at 1:00 pm. Hope everyone can make
it. The more the merrier! We will discuss the details before the first

Good idea. Everyone needs gas! Not sure the stores would let us, but
it never hurts to ask. I think the posted the LCYC tourney info. more
people playing means more people buying discs!

A. There was a good turn out for a sport like this.
B. Negativity will not promote anything and those who did show up will
feel unappreciated.
C. Don't expect major changes overnight... You cannot compare what
Fort Wayne or Club Dead do to ours, we are a start up, don't give up
hope so quickly. I mean, really if it was just you on the course,
would you have any less fun?

I have to agree with Cheep on this one. It's not really a league if
you don't win anything. I love playing with other people, but it's not
really a league.
That being said, I think it's awesome that people showed up interested
in playing the greatest sport ever! (imho) Thank you everyone!
This week I'll be putting $ in, if anyone else wants to match it cool.
If not, no big deal. I guess I'll just get my money back! LOL! We'll
wait til after third round to determine handicap and pay winners. I
know Cheep is up for it so we're doing it.
I still like the idea of a tourney at the end also.
If anyone wants to play anytime just drop me a line. Kramer and I play
almost everyday! come and join us if you wish.

Very true K, but was not trying to compare to Ft. Wayne or Club Dead
just using what they do to start something. I play by myself most of
the time anyway. Glad people had an interest, but people i talked to
just thought it was gonna be a group play. I play every Friday Morning
between 8 and 9 if anyone wants to play. Hopefully a few more people
show up this weekend. Hope to see everyone from first day there!

Not sure if there will be league play this coming Sunday Sept 27, Vu
and I will most likely be playing in Ft. Wayne at Shoaff Park in a
fall series Tourney. Kramer may play or makeup rounds could be played.
We will definetly be on for Sunday Oct 4th though. Handicaps will be
figured for that round and will be in effect.

Disc Golf League doing really well. Hopefully everyone will be able to
play next spring also. League format will change, going to have a
point system for where you finish each week. At the end of league
players will be rewarded based on points accumulated. How many players
rewarded will be determined at a later date. Format still in the
works. Hopefully we can get the word out and get some more players. An
end of league tourney is also under discussion, anyone with comments
or suggetions please feel free to post them. Date? Cost?
