Well, we can't play handicaps if we invite the public. It would only
be our little group, who plays a kind of "tournament" every Sunday.
So, it would just be a higher stakes competition between us. The
tournament would have to be no handicaps, but we can have maybe a side
pot for the league players with handicaps?
I'm not even sure how we would ensure that the scores are valid... If
there's a cash prize, or even if the prizes are gear or discs... I
think some good honest people might forget a few throws...
Another thing... 2 rounds of 18 is a lot for some people to play in a
single day. Cycling through, say, 15 players would be very time
consuming, especially of we have a number of people playing the course
who are not involved in the tournament. Also... I assume it's a single
entrant tournament. Or could one round be on your own, and the other
round be with a partner?
House rules should be posted for all to see... Things such as
penalties, any mandos(should someone decide to put them up), pars, and
no in by sitting on top of the the basket, (should be obvious, but we
don't want any disagreements.)
Just my thoughts... Perhaps I'm over-thinking this.
