The National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH)—in partnership with the University of Massachusetts’ Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management Fellowship program—will be hosting a new webinar on Aug. 19 and 1 to 3 p.m. with Dr. Matthew Martin and Dr. Tanya Egodage, who are national experts in disaster ethics and critical care.

This lecture, which is the first of a new monthly webinar series, introduces a new format for our Disaster Medicine Lecture Series with a live, CME (Continuing Medical Education)-accredited webinar. The new format ensures that our valuable educational content now offers accredited continuing medical education for attendees. Links for future lectures will be shared in advance of their scheduled date.

Who Can Attend? Everyone is welcome! The lecture will delve into the complexities of ethical decision-making and clinical response during mass casualty incidents and resource-limited events. Anyone involved in disaster preparedness and response will learn from their insights and we encourage you to share this opportunity with anyone you believe would benefit from this expert-led series

To Register: Please click this link: https://learn.acep.org/cw/course-details?entryId=17967015&itemId=771796

CME Accreditation: The CME offered is AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and is specifically designed for doctors. While anyone can attend the webinar and claim the CME, attendees will be responsible for providing the CME information to their respective licensing boards for approval.

American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Account Requirement: To facilitate CME tracking, all attendees will need a free ACEP.org account. Please note that a paid ACEP membership is not required.
