Hello all,
I hope you are all ok; it’s been a week of heightened alert in the Caribbean. So far, thankfully my colleagues are ok, but a Category 5 this close to November is a bit unsettling to say the least…
I wanted to invite folks to a TIG-sponsored webinar, this coming Wednesday, November 5, 5 p.m. CST, hosted by TIGger Jane Henrici, “Solidarity and Resilience: Adapting Cuba’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in Haiti.” Joining me are colleagues
Joseph Felix (Prof. UPSAC, and a co-founder of Civil Protection in Haiti)
Elizabet Godefoy Núñez (Instituto de Geofísica y Astronomía, Cuba)
Prof. Louis-Marc Pierre (UEH-Campus Henri Christophe/Founder and coordinator, SARVCR, Haiti)
Interpretation will be provided by Crisis: Respond Translation
Please see attached flyer. To register please visit: go.niu.edu/solidarity-resilience
And please take good care of yourselves and have a safe holiday weekend.
Humbly,
