Call for Submission - 50th Annual Workshop and Researchers Meeting

On behalf of the Natural Hazards Center at the University of Colorado Boulder, we would like to invite you to the 50th Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop. We are currently accepting submissions on any hazards or disaster topic including those related to this year’s theme, The Next 50 Years: Charting a Course for the Hazards and Disaster Field. The deadline for Workshop submissions is January 31, 2025! 

Please note that there are many additional Workshop opportunities, including the student paper competition, student volunteer program, Meet the Authors event, poster sessions, and research and practice highlights.   

The Researchers Meeting Organizing Committee is now also accepting submissions for research presentations and roundtable discussion through February 28, 2025!  

This year’s Natural Hazards Workshop will be held from July 13-16, 2025 at the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado. The Researchers Meeting follows on July 16-17, 2025. Please share this call for submission with students and colleagues. Also, make sure you are subscribed to Workshop updates so you don’t miss important deadlines and opportunities to contribute.
