Based in the UK, Egypt and Lebanon, Alfanar invests in social enterprises working in the Arab World on children education and women economic empowerment. Alfanar is launching its 2019 Egypt call for applications, funding social enterprises registered under the Ministry of Social Solidarity and working on children education.

Applicants must have an income-generating arm, not solely depending on grants and donations. Social enterprises allover Egypt are welcome to apply with a specific focus on Alexandria and Minya.

First-time applicants need to apply for one-year funding reflecting their core impact and revenue models.
