The Foundation has restored sight to more than 2.5 million people around the world. The Foundation’s vision is to deliver a world in which no person is needlessly blind or vision impaired.
About the Speakers
Dr. Andrew Cassels-Brown is the Medical Director at The Fred Hollows Foundation. In his role, he is responsible for driving medical advice, research and innovation that will extend The Foundation’s impact. He brings three decades’ ophthalmic experience and a passion for community eye health and sustainability.
Dr. Yeneneh Mulugeta Deneke is the medical advisor for Africa and Middle East at The Fred Hollows Foundation. In his role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership on medical and technical areas to ensure delivering greater impact in addressing blindness.
