Ski Trip

Hey fellas. I want to go skiing. It's fun. So, having said that, does anyone want to go to killington vermont presidents day weekend? It's supposedly an insane party and the best skiing on the east coast. We can fly into Boston or Albany for roughly $300, rent a car and drive up the mountain. Brasky can take the train in. I was thinking of taking Friday off, flying up Thursday night, and coming back on presidents day (Monday). Let me know if y'all are interested and I'll get the ball rolling.

I've done some research, and it looks like the best place to stay would be the killington grand resort. Access bridge the the base lodge, shuttles to all the bars, and it has hot tubs and heated pools.  Rooms are pricy though at 400/night. That's with two queens so it would sleep 4. So, I figured, if 8 of us go, we could get two rooms and all stay here for a total of $400 each for the whole trip, and party our faces off. All if the condo rentals I checked into were the same price or higher. Lift tickets for the 3 days of skiing will be a total of $172. Ski rental is $100 total for the trip. Rental car will be approximately $55 each for the trip. as of right now, we can flight round trip to Burlington, VT for $309.That would be leaving 7pm on Thursday the 17th and returning at 3:45 pm on Monday the 21. From the airport, we have a one hour thirty minute drive to the resort.  So, if you aren't flying free, the trip will be about $1000, not including food and drink.  So, does anyone have any objections/suggestions? Also, please respond if you are definately in. We need to get this booked, as flights are only going to go up.

Yea that place would be very cool as well flights are expensive, about 600, but if we could make that up on hotels or rentals it might be a good choice

I'm up for getting together. Let's go somewhere besides the ivy though. We are wearing that place out and it sucks to watch a game there. I have heard buffalo wild wings across from phipps is a great nfl bar. They have decent drink prices and a ton of tvs too.

I agree. Went to the Ivy 3 times this week already, I can't handle it again. I'll do Taco Mac, Stout, 3 Dollar Cafe, Cheyenne Grill, or even venture beyond buckhead to Smith's Olde Bar or the Porter. Weldon always said a rough crowd hangs out at the Wild Wings by the mall, he went a lot because its cheap, but I've never been.

I think Smiths will be the most fun atmosphere, as anyone who's been for a Tide or Steelers game can attest. The only downside is getting a cab back to civilization afterwards, but I'm fine with doing that. If people are insistent on staying the Bhead, I say Stout or Tavern, just so we can walk everywhere afterwards.
