I am writing to express my interest in the Director of Education position at Bolton Street Synagogue.
I have had the pleasure of working within the Jewish community for more than 10 years as an educator and adviser. For the past three years, I have taught at Temple Sinai's various educational programs in Washington DC.
At Temple Sinai I have gained valuable experience in creating unique lessons and programs utilizing Active Learning strategies and other community centered, “out of the box” techniques. This new approach to teaching carried over to my full-time position as an adult educator at Inlingua, a language school. At Inlingua, my most recent accomplishments include my promotion to a coordinator position. As a coordinator, I write and design curriculum, mentor teachers, and provide seminars to all of my colleagues.
It has always been a goal of mine to take my talents to the next level in a leadership position at a synagogue.
