I am writing concerning your opening for the position Director of Education at Bolton Street Synagogue. I hold a Masters Degree in Jewish Education from HUC-JIR and have experience as both an educator as well as an administrator, having served as the assistant principal and acting principal of a thriving religious school. In addition, I have coordinated and directed adult and family education programing, and l have also had the privilege of working within a variety of informal frameworks to create programing for and in partnership with young people, making me an ideal candidate for this position 

In addition to being a competent administrator and educator, my passion for working with young people is evident through the relationships that I strive to build and maintain with my students. A primary focus of my educational philosophy is relationship building and collaborative learning, as it is through the collective strength and wisdom of Klal Yisrael that we learn to take our place in community, one student at a time. With this in mind, I would love to join your team of professional staff at Bolton Street Synagogue, facilitating the growth of the next generation of actively involved Jews.
